Update

I promise I'm not going to make this a "Potty Blog", but I had to share today's achievements! First, let me say that we have been extremely busy today! We went to help my brother get ready to plant 2500 mums by filling the pots with dirt today, so that when the plants arrive tomorrow, there will be less work to do. Matthew was an absolute angel and sat outside with us for the majority of the time we were working. (We were in the really nice shade and he had his cup, so he was happy!) So...potty-ing was just not feasible this morning. This evening, when we finished, I took him in to change him and saw that he probably needed to sit on the potty to go #2. I sat him down and plopped in the floor beside him. I kept saying, "Are you going to poop in the potty like a big boy?!" and he would smile the cutest smile and laugh the cutest little chuckle!! He knew what I was saying! He did it!!!! #1 and #2!!! Then a little later I was getting ready to give him a bath, because he was so dirty and was going to go to sleep before we got home, and I told him to pee pee in the potty. I stood him up there and HE DID IT!!! I said, "Yay!! You went pee pee in the potty like a big boy!!" THEN...he smiled, laughed and held up two fingers and I REALLY think he was telling me he had used the potty two times!!!!!!!!!!! I thought that was just absolutely special!!!!!!! He may never use the potty again, but I am so proud of him for his big boy job today!!!!!!!! YAY MATTHEW!!!!!
